Spiced Rye Ale

This is the newest beer in the Renaissance portfolio. It is a spiced rye ale that is easy drinking with hints of caraway, cinnamon and star anise.  It was designed by Andy as a speciality beer for Marchfest in Nelson to celebrate the end of the hop harvest.  Andy designed it whilst listening to a lot of west coast disco (west coast USA, not west coast New Zealand!) hence the name. Occasionally, if you looked carefully, the brewers would be get jiggy with it whilst making this beer. 

This beer is currently only available on tap in New Zealand at such establishments as:

• Regional Wines and Spirits
