20 Year of Renaissance Brewing

We’ve hit a huge milestone — Renaissance Brewing is officially 20 years old!

From our early days brewing in Marlborough back in 2005, to becoming one of NZ’s pioneering craft breweries, it’s been one hell of a ride. Along the way we’ve brewed some absolute legends — Stonecutter Scotch Ale, Elemental Porter, Hazies, IPAs, Pilsners — and picked up a fair few medals too (including Champion NZ Brewery in 2013 and back-to-back Champion International Small Brewery at AIBA in 2013 & 2014).

At the heart of it all, nothing’s changed: we’re still brewing award-winning New Zealand craft beer with flavour, balance and soul, using local hops and malts, and pushing ourselves to keep creating beers that excite.
